Re: HI and questions
First, DO NOT THROW ANYTHING AWAY. One persons trash is another persons treasure. how to sell them depends on the condition of the box and the completeness of the sets. You might want to sell them separately if they are nearly complete. Even the ovens that don't work have value. Some people just wan...

Re: Help with Thingmker
Did you mix the old goop? I have used goop that was over 40 years old but the key is to make sure it is mixed properly. ALL goop is a suspension of ingredients and will always separate if left sitting around even for a short amount of time. If it is as old as you say it is, and it still has a liquid...

Re: Newbie
Hey Russ, welcome to the forum. 1. The original 1960's Thingmaker has a pocket in it that fits the 60's molds. The 60's molds are smaller than the Toymax and Jakks molds, so no the new ones don't fit. The newer ovens with the light bulb do fit all size molds but they take longer to heat your mold. P...

Re: Help with Thingmker
Hi Ronn, The time can vary a lot when cooking up Creepy Crawlers. It depends on how hot your Thingmaker gets and how big of a mold and how much plastigoop you are putting in. For me the best way to tell is by watching for the goop to go from a cloudy to a more solid color. Once you try it once and w...

Re: Thingmaker accessory packs
I would be willing to trade quantities of goop for good clear scans of accessory packs as well.

Re: Silicone Molds ?
I know of a few people that used to make molds out of silicone and then use plasti-goop to cast in them. I suppose it should work as long as your silicone has a decent heat rating (most of it does) and you only let it get as hot as needed to gel the goop (310 F). Let us know if you try it how it wor...

Re: New to the forum, but what is the best Creepy crawler ma
Jim is right, the old 60's oven cooks the fastest, but it only cooks one at a time and doesn't fit the larger post 60's molds. The Toymax and Jakks ovens fit all the molds but they cook really slow and you still can only cook one at a time. I use and highly recomend a toaster oven. I picked up a rea...

That was Don who posted the cleaner set. He is also the person who made the original "World of Motorized Monster Maker" website. The contact emails on the archived site are still valid and go to him.
